For some, life has not unfolded the way you imagined, and it’s starting to feel heavier than you expected. You want to make sense of your story, but it’s hard when anxiety, doubts, stress, or expectations get in the way. It can feel disappointing, but you are not alone. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), relationship issues or doubts, career stress, faith questions, uncertainty, distressing thoughts, grief, or family conflict.
As a Latina therapist, I value creating space for your whole story and the experiences that have shaped who you are. I recognize the way identity, family, culture, and belonging can influence our experiences and relationships. I enjoy working with individuals from the BIPOC community and strive to offer a space where you feel seen, understood, and valued.
I will listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore the patterns that keep you from feeling like yourself. I help clients move beyond the surface and into the heart of what is really going on. All while continuing to center emotional safety every step of the way. I am trained in EMDR and have experience working with clients who have had distressing or traumatic experiences, whether in childhood or adulthood. I also have a focused background in ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), which allows me to support clients navigating OCD, anxiety, and the uncertainty that often comes with it. My hope is to empower you to face uncertainty with greater courage, build confidence in yourself, and create a life guided by your values and joy rather than fear.
I hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. In addition, I have over 7 years of experience working with children, teens, and young adults in educational and nonprofit settings. Outside of therapy, I’m often traveling and hiking in National Parks with friends (Olympic National Park is my favorite so far!), trying coffee shops in new cities, watching college football, painting with oil pastels, drinking pumpkin cream cold brews in the Fall, and re-watching the Grinch multiple times during Christmas!
Taking the first step toward healing is courageous. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you create more healing, clarity, and connection in your life.
