I offer a collaborative, evidence-based approach to therapy.
I’m a therapist who is passionate about helping people strengthen their emotional well-being through a supportive, collaborative, and evidence-based approach. My work is influenced by attachment theory and focuses on how past experiences, relationships, and cultural context shape the way we connect with ourselves and others. If you are considering therapy, you may have questions or assumptions about the process, about me, or about what change might look like. I welcome those conversations and aim to create a space where all thoughts and emotions can be explored with curiosity and acceptance. I especially enjoy working with people who notice recurring patterns in their relationships and want to better understand themselves.
Before earning my Master’s in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, I became a licensed chemical dependency counselor and worked with individuals in inpatient treatment for substance use. During my graduate training, I gained experience supporting adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, and relational challenges at our on-site SMU clinic.
I bring not only professional experience, but also the perspective of someone who has been on both sides of the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to offer a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change. I see therapy as a space for reflection, curiosity, and growth. It is a process where we work together to better understand your experiences and move toward the kind of life and relationships you want to create.
