I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate committed to helping clients realize their potential and find compassion for themselves. One of the most meaningful ways I do this is through “reparenting,” or teaching clients how to give themselves the care, boundaries, and understanding they may not have received growing up. Together, we can work to break unhealthy cycles, strengthen confidence, and build a future rooted in dignity and self-compassion.
As a mother of two and a therapist, I’ve seen how reparenting transforms not only the relationship you have with yourself, but also the way you parent, partner, and connect with others. I provide a non-judgmental and culturally competent space that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in approaches such as DBT, REBT, and IFS. I am also EMDR trained, which allows me to scientifically and empathetically assist clients in healing trauma. I have experience supporting clients through depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life changes, substance use, and personality-related challenges. I also have a special focus on helping individuals who struggle with fear of abandonment, impulsivity, and intense emotions, and I work with their loved ones to better understand and support them in the healing process. I welcome clients 14 and up, including individuals, couples, and families.
Before becoming a counselor, I worked nearly 15 years as an interior designer and aviation planner. After losing my mother to suicide, I felt called to shift my career and dedicate myself to mental health. While that loss was indescribably heartbreaking, it gave me a deeper understanding of the healing journey I now walk alongside my clients. Since then, I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Midwestern State University and began guiding clients through their own healing and transformation.
When I’m not in session, you can find me on the couch with my family for movie night, obsessing over anything gymnastics, or listening to true crime podcasts.
