I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate who conceptualizes our healing journeys through a Gestaltian theoretical lens. My approach to therapy is holistic, focusing on the mind, physical body, emotional body, and environmental context of each client. I believe that authentic change comes from a deep exploration of and acceptance of each facet of our constantly evolving self. This allows us to reintegrate the parts of our being that we unconsciously deny in our ineffective efforts to cope with the unfinished business of our past.

I view the therapeutic process as one that cultivates introspection and insight, thereby increasing self-awareness in the flow of our experience. I am trained as a Qualified Level 2 Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher to incorporate mindfulness practices in our sessions if needed. I am also a Somatic Experiencing Assistant Teacher Trainer and utilize somatic techniques with my clients as well. Because I believe that healing occurs in relationship, my role as your counselor is to be your partner while you experiment with new ways of engaging with the world, of making more informed choices, and of creating a more meaningful existence.
