I am a bilingual Student Counselor currently completing my clinical training at TheraCare Las Colinas.
I am passionate about creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. My counseling approach is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based principles. A genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and collaboration can create the foundation for lasting change. Because every individual has a unique story, I strive to honor each client’s experiences, values, and strengths with curiosity, compassion, and respect. Counseling is not about having all the answers but about walking alongside clients as they develop a deeper understanding of themselves, recognize patterns, build on their strengths, and discover practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. I strive to meet each client where they are, recognizing that healing is not a linear process and looks different for every individual. I welcome the opportunity to support clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, healthy boundaries, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief and loss, stress management, resilience, and relational trauma.
As a bilingual counselor-in-training, I am committed to providing culturally responsive care in both English and Spanish. I recognize that culture, language, family values, and lived experiences shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. I strive to honor each client’s unique background with cultural humility, openness, and respect, creating a space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves in the language and cultural context that feels most authentic to them.
Beginning counseling can feel vulnerable, and I hope that every client experiences therapy as a place where they feel safe, respected, supported, and empowered. My goal is for each person to leave our sessions with greater self-understanding, increased confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges, practical tools they can continue using in everyday life, and hope that positive change is possible.
Outside the office, I enjoy the simple things—spending time in nature, a good cup of coffee, moments of quiet, and meaningful conversations with the people I love. These moments remind me of the importance of slowing down, being present, and nurturing our well-being so we can show up more fully for ourselves and for others.
